Margaret Newton

Dr. Margaret is a Licensed Chiropractor and Massage Therapist with 30 years of practice. Each patient receives care tailored to their specific needs using her wide spectrum of techniques and experience. Her patients appreciate the real improvements they enjoy under her gentle care.

Margaret treats everyone from newborns to children to adults with varying activity-levels.  She has had success helping people to diminish or eliminate symptoms associated with postural distortion, TMJ disorder, migraine and/or tension headaches, pre / postnatal neurological clearing (Webster Certified-see ICPA), Torticollis, low back pain, degenerative disc disease, repetitive use injury, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, whiplash, chronic pain, peripheral neuropathy, insomnia.

Dr. Newton has had a lifetime of nutritional experience, her grandparents owned a health foods store for 40 years.  She has taught at many massage schools, including preparing students for the NCTMB examination (the highest level of bodywork certification).  She is interested in helping people obtain the peak of their own personal excellence.  She also developed and teaches Hospice Professional Massage and has countless hours with families who are in the midst of loosing a loved one.  

She continuously improves her knowledge and skills through a variety of courses. She has pursued continuing education annually since 1981, 20-30 hours per /year, some of which include:

• International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (membership since 1992). 
• Webster Certified. A gentle adjustment for pregnant women who wish to provide the optimal position for her fetus at presentation for birth. 
• Manipulation Under Anesthesia. MUA, St. Vincent Charity Medical Hospital.  Cleveland, OH.
• Neuromuscular Training, Paul -St. John Method. Tampa, FL.
